Rev. Margaret B. Olawaiye (Nee Faturoti) was born to Chief & Mrs J.I. Faturoti (Both Late) in Orin, Ekiti State, Nigeria. My Daddy was always the headmaster of the Schools and also the Catechist of the Churches at his station before he retired. Rev. Margaret was married to Adedokun J Olawaiye also with the Lord, may their souls rest in perfect peace (Amen). The marriage produced five wonderful, awesome, brilliant, excellent, kind, handsome, beautiful, and Godly Children. They are Oluyemi, Ayoola (Late), Olufisayo, Atinuke, and Ibukun. Praise God for that, Halleluyah. Amen
EDUCATION
After my Primary School Education, I attended Methodist Girls High School, Ifaki Ekiti State for my West African School Certificate and General Certificate Education. I was one of the very first set (1966) from that beautiful School. Some years after my higher school certificate (H.S.C), I traveled to the United States to join my Husband. We lived in New York City for seven years. Between these years, we had our first and second Sons (Oluyemi and Ayoola). Praise God. I had my Associate’s degree in Applied Science from New York City Community College Brooklyn. I also had my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) major in Marketing Management from Pace University New York City.
My husband and I being already interviewed and recruited by the Federal Government of Nigeria Officials in New York City as it was done at that time. we had to return to Nigeria for our National Youth Service: After my Youth Service, I was posted to the Federal Ministry of Mines and Power, Broad Street. Lagos and later moved to the Federal Ministry of Commerce, at the trade fair Complex alone Badagry expressway, Lagos.
In 1992. I got the call of the Lord upon my Life. But after running away from it for some years. I finally checked myself into the Victory Bible College of Bishop Iloputaife along Badagry road off Satellite town. I started working for myself as the General Manager /owner of Ibukun-Oluwa Supermarket Satellite Town. Soon after that, I became the proprietress of Divine Knowledge
Nursery and Primary School Okokomaiko, Lagos
In 1995. I became the Pastor/Founder of Wonderful Pentecostal Church, Inc. Okokomaiko, Lagos. This Church later moved with me back to the United States in 1999 to the city of Buffalo. New York State. Shortly after that, I became an author of the book titled, WHY WOMEN MAY NEVER KEEP SILENCE IN THE CHURCH (ISBN: 1-55630-289-4) USA.
In 2007, I graduated from the Jacksonville Theological Seminary, with my Master’s Degree, in Christian Ministry and my Grand-Ordination. Presently, I am the President/Chief Executive Officer of God’s Own Widows Worldwide, Inc (United State Chapter) and God’s Own Widows Worldwide, Foundation, Nigerian Chapter. I am also the Matron of the Nigeria Association of Nigerian (CAN) Iyana Ipaja District under CAN District Chairman Pastor Obule Mike.
The journey may sound easy as it is written but it was far from that. It was so much, so tough and rocky but the Lord saw me through them all. Glory be to the name of the Almighty God, Amen, and Amen.
